Auto, home and business insurance in North Olmsted

North Olmsted sits where Cuyahoga County meets Lorain County, so our clients range from Westlake commuters and Rocky River homeowners to shop owners along Lorain Road. Here is what we help them with most.

Auto insurance

Daily drives on I-480 and I-90, winter mornings on Lorain Road and busy lots around Great Northern all add up. We compare your auto policy across several carriers and make sure your limits match what you actually have on the line.

  • Full coverage, liability and uninsured motorist
  • SR-22 filings and drivers with tickets or accidents
  • Teen drivers and multi-car households
  • Discounts for bundling, safe driving and paying in full

Home insurance

West side homes face lake-effect snow, wind off Lake Erie and basements that take on water in heavy rain. We match your policy to your house, from a ranch in North Olmsted to a lakeside colonial in Bay Village.

  • Homeowners, condo (HO-6) and renters
  • Sewer and drain backup coverage
  • Flood quotes for homes near the lake or the Rocky River
  • Landlord, rental property and umbrella policies

Business insurance

Retail shops and restaurants along Great Northern and Lorain Road, contractors working across both counties and service businesses running a few vans: we build coverage around how you operate and what your clients require.

  • General liability and business owner's policies
  • Commercial auto, trucks and fleets
  • Contractor coverage and certificates of insurance
  • Commercial property and professional liability

Why west side families switch to an independent agent

Most people stay with the same insurance company for years without checking whether the price still makes sense. Rates change every renewal, and a carrier that was cheapest five years ago often is not today. Because EZ2Insure represents multiple carriers, we can move your policy when another company offers better coverage or a lower price, without you starting over.

Being close by helps too. When a storm comes off the lake or a deer steps out on Columbia Road, you call an office down the street, not a national hotline. We know the claims that are common here and set up your coverage with them in mind.

How a quote works

  1. Reach out. Fill out the form, call or stop by the Great Northern Blvd office.
  2. We compare. We run your coverage through the carriers we represent.
  3. We walk you through it. You see the options side by side, in plain English.
  4. You decide. If you switch, we line up the new policy so there is no gap in coverage.

Not sure what you have now? Bring in your current declarations page and we will review it with you for free.

What Ohio requires, and what we recommend

Auto: Ohio's legal minimum is 25/50/25: $25,000 of bodily injury coverage per person, $50,000 per accident and $25,000 for property damage. A newer SUV alone can cost more than $25,000 to replace, which is why we usually suggest higher limits.

Home: No Ohio law requires homeowners insurance, but nearly every mortgage does. Flood is never included in a standard policy, and sewer backup often is not, so we review both.

Business: Business-owned vehicles must carry at least Ohio's liability minimums, and landlords, general contractors and many clients will ask for proof of general liability before work starts.

Put it all in one place

Bundling home and auto with one carrier often lowers both premiums and means one renewal date to keep track of. If you own a home, rent out a property or have teen drivers, an umbrella policy adds extra liability protection on top for a modest yearly cost.

We price the bundle and the separate policies so you can see which way saves more.

North Olmsted insurance FAQs

How much is car insurance in North Olmsted?

Rates depend on your car, driving record, credit-based insurance score, coverage limits and the carrier, so there is no single number. What we see most often is that people who have not shopped in a few years are paying more than they need to. A side-by-side quote from several carriers is the fastest way to find out, and we can usually run one in a single call.

Do you insure homes and cars in Lorain County too?

Yes. Plenty of our North Olmsted clients live just across the county line in North Ridgeville, Avon and Avon Lake. We write auto, home and business policies throughout Ohio, so where you live in Cuyahoga or Lorain County does not change how we can help.

Do I need flood insurance if I live near Lake Erie or the Rocky River?

Standard homeowners policies do not cover flood damage, whether the water comes from a storm, a swollen creek or the lake. Whether you need a separate flood policy depends on where your home sits and what your lender requires. We will check your address and quote flood coverage so you can decide with real numbers.

Can you insure the vehicles my business uses?

Yes. We write commercial auto for a single work van, pickup trucks or a full fleet, plus hired and non-owned auto coverage for employees who drive their own cars for work. We can bundle it with general liability or a business owner's policy.

What should I have ready to get a quote?

For auto: your current declarations page, driver's license numbers and the VIN for each vehicle. For home: your address, the year the roof was replaced and your current policy if you have one. For business: what you do, your annual revenue and the vehicles or equipment you need covered. If you do not have everything, call anyway and we will fill in the gaps together.
